Demineralizer accessories include:

 Cation Regeneration skid  Anion Regeneration skid  Mixed bed Regeneration skid 

This system receives feed water and then pumps it into the Multi-media Filters and the Activated Carbon Filters through Feed Water pumps;  Each filter is rated for a service flow rate  and a backwash flow rate (By project needs).

The water then enters the Strong Acid Cations each rated for Service flow . These units remove Cationic ions from the water. Then the water enters through the Strong Base Anions. Again, these are rated for setting flow rate . The Strong Base Anions remove Anions from the water stream.

The last equipment to process the water is the Mixed Bed units. These units contain both Anion and Cation resin mixed together. This mixed resin polishes the water, greatly reducing the conductivity level.

The feed pumps provide regeneration water to the regeneration skids. Three different regeneration skids are supplied with the plant. One Cation regeneration skid, one Anion regeneration skid and one mixed bed regeneration skid. They each provide the necessary amount of dilute chemical to the demineralization vessels to regenerate the resins contained inside. The mixed bed units also need mixing air. The compressed air is used during regeneration to remix the resin after it has been regenerated.
